When in doubt, choose the larger size. A larger ball is harder to lift or carry in the mouth, so it naturally encourages the push-and-chase play it was made for.

Weight is a guide—your dog’s height, play style and available space matter too.

When fully inflated, it is very difficult for a dog to damage it. A properly inflated ball pulls the cover smooth and taut, leaving fewer loose folds for teeth to catch. Never give it to your dog underinflated: a soft or wrinkled cover is easier to grab and may be damaged.

For routine cleaning, wipe the ball and outer cover with a soft cloth, mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach and abrasive brushes. Let every part dry completely before the next supervised play session, and inspect the cover for wear as you clean.
